This community is what makes saying goodbye so difficult. Rhode Island may be the smallest state, but I'd argue it has the biggest heart. To every person who cheered me on as I recovered - thank you. It was in the days and weeks after I had my stroke that this community stood by us. We got engaged on a beach in Newport, planned a wedding from our home in Foxboro, got married, and came home to endure our greatest test so far. Travis and I constantly say we've lived a lot in the last four years. ⁣ĭuring my time here, I grew as a journalist and as a person.
